NBC has an App and we talked about that here on this site, but I think that they were feeling left out of the streaming services. Since it looks like there are a lot of streaming services out there NBC had to get into the streaming service as I think they were left out. Thus the Peacock network was born.
History
In January of 2019, NBC Universal released a statement that they are doing an “over the top” streaming service (I put those in “”). They called it Peacock and was to be released in April of 2020.
The App
This is what the app looks like on the iPhone
Once you open it up you are presented with this
The first thing I was the following words “No credit card required” I was thinking yea right. So I pushed Watch for free and got this
You do have to sign up in order to watch for “FREE”
So I signed up for it just to test it out.
I loved Wilford Brimley, he was great in the Firm. I clicked on the person in the upper right hand corner and it offered a couple of different plans.

I clicked on the Peacock Premium and it gave you a few options to sign in. Apparently with Comcast or Cox and a couple of other cable companies. So I worked my magic and I was able to log into one of those cable companies. I had the Premium access. It is nice. I have access to over 15,000 hours which was free plus over 5,000 free hours for premium people.
Here is what it looks like on the channel selection
My opinion
Of course, you will be getting my opinion, I love Psych, and the only way I could watch the new Movie, Psych 2 Lassie come home. Was on the Peacock network. I guess it is a way to get people to come over and stream from them. But that is the nature of business. However, Las Vegas the show from 2003 to 2008 isn’t on there even if NBCUniversal Television is the distributor. Crossing Jordan isn’t on there as well. What the heck NBC, get these shows on your streaming service. Other than that this is a decent streaming service.
