Osmo Action 4 Battery Case

Now that I have a new camera, it comes with three batteries. This adventure creator combo is excellent.

Batteries

With my Osmo Action One, I have six batteries. That way, I would never run out of power. DJI provided a battery case for the three batteries I got.

This is a good place to put the batteries in and carry them around if you would like to do that.

This case has three spots for the three batteries. They say it is a charging case, and yes, it is a charging case, but not the way I thought it was.

The case is charged via USB C and has LED lights indicating whether it is charging.

What it isn’t

It isn’t an independent charger. You can’t place the batteries in there and let them charge.

You have to have this plugged into power in order to charge the batteries. You can’t just throw the batteries in there while traveling and get them to charge. That is why I had six batteries for the Osmo Action One so I wouldn’t run out of power while I was filming. But I only have three batteries for this new camera.

My Thoughts

I thought that this would charge the batteries while I was out filming. So I have to be careful about the power I use when I am out, but the batteries last a long time.

I thought it was a great charging case for traveling on the go, but it doesn’t do that. But that is OK. It is a great battery case. I only take this with me when I travel. I have another charger for home use that I will talk about later in this blog. I will add that here when I do.

It is an excellent case, not what I thought it would be something different, but it is okay. It does what I need it to do.
