New Lavier Mic

I got a new Lavier Mic for my vlogging stuff. Why? 

Well 

I was using this one

For awhile, then one day it stopped working. I was like what the heck is going on. Why isn’t it working? I didn’t want to use my small shotgun mic all the time. 

So I needed a new one. 

Picked Up

I searched the Internet, Amazon, and found this one

I should have just gotten this one from the start. I was looking at the mic’s cost when I got the other one. 

I like this mic it does what it needs to do. 

The only issue I found with this is I lost the windscreen

I also found some more on B&H Photo. I picked up several of these and carried spares around with me. I have to remember where they are. 

The cable is long so I have to keep it like this

I just like it long. It can get in the way. I find that this is the perfect length to film with. 

Con

Sometimes when I am filming with it, I find that voice is not as loud as it should be. I have it clipped to my shirt, I feel that is the apporticate distance. But it could be just me not talking as loudly as I should be. If I am out in public, I tend to be quiet. You know not to attract the attention of others.

That was all I cared about as a youngster, was the attention on me. But now days, no, thank you.

Maybe that isn’t a con, but just me being me.

Overall

This mic is a good one. I should have just brought this one before, however, I was just saving me some money. The other mic lasted me for a couple of years. So if this can last me a couple more years I will be happy.

However, there is always something newer coming out.
