Freeform APP

The beloved ABC Family channel, which of course is owned by Walt Disney Television, changed their name to Freefrom. I am sure there is a reason. But oh well, right.

The App

When you very first open up the app you are asked to get started you are presented with the following:

I did the skip and that brought me to the content, yea, but it isn’t all the content.

Content

Once you get to the content page you are presented with some options and they are :

• Featured
• Watch live TV
• Stay the FF home
• Unlocked shows
• Trending
• New Movies (not new movies, but new to them)
• New Episodes
• Shows A-Z
• Comedies
• Dramas
• Movies A-Z

Lots and lots of stuff. Let’s look at unlocked shows.

Here you have a page full of shows, not that many, that you can watch all the seasons. If we do the following:

• Go to comedies
• scroll to the left
• Click on Melissa and Joey
• You can click start watching now and it will start from the beginning and continue on
• You can then move on to the next season without an issue.

fun times right.

Say I want to watch Motherland one of the newer shows. You will have to do the following:

• Go to featured
• click on Motherland and then start watching.

Freeform doesn’t is a bit odd, instead of the last few episodes for free, you get the first 2, which I like then you can see if you like the series or not. However, if you missed the last episode, well you are out of luck. You will have to connect to your TV provider to watch it. If you don’t have one I am sure there is a cost to it but I am not sure. I never did want to create one.

Overall

This is a good app you can watch some older shows and newer shows. I like this app.
