DJI Osmo Action 4

I decided to pick up a new camera to help with my YouTube videos. I needed something that could make audio easier. I found what I was looking for.

Action 4

I have had my eye on this since it came out. However, I couldn’t afford the price tag. But I waited and finally got it, much to my wife’s non-agreeing opinion.

Came with

I got the Adventure Combo Action 4, and this came with the following:

• Camera
• Case
• Quick Release Magnet
• Battery case
• Selfie stick
• Three batteries

Why this one

This was the original one. Ad, it worked out pretty well. However, when it came to audio, it was a significant pain in the butt. You have to have the following:

This is just to plug into the audio cable to have external audio for this action camera. It looks something like this.

I always forgot the adapter or the cable. I had the DJI wireless mic and could connect it via USB C

But not on the Action one, the original Osmo Action.

That is why I upgraded to the Osmo Action 4.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed Action 1, but its capabilities and audio handling were limited. However, Action 4 is more updated and functional with vlogging.

My Thoughts

My wife wasn’t happy with my purchase, but it is OK. The camera has some issues when switching the screen from front to back or back to front, but maybe that is just the user.

Plugging the DJi Mic into this is excellent. However, if I get the Dji Mic 2, it will be Bluetooth.

But the camera is excellent.
