Desk Light Strip, LED

Another thing I wanted in my office was a light strip. Some people think these are stupider than stupid, but I like them. What kind did I get?

I picked up some Kasa LED light strips.

Why this one? I thought about putting these outside as accent lighting on my columns. But they weren’t the best for this option. It might be because these are inside lights only. So I put them around my desk.

Why the desk

They would look good as accent lighting to make the desk pop slightly. They add to the lights I already have in the office, which are both Kasa products. While sitting at the desk, I can’t tell if the lights are on unless my standing desk is up. Then, I can see the lights shine off the wall.

I have it on a schedule that turns on and off, which is great for me. I like that sort of thing.

Thoughts

I like them and wish they would make some for outdoor use. That would be awesome. But these are fine and doable for what I want them to do. That is to add some character to my office. Making it mine. Now, do the lights add character for everyone? Probably not, but I am trying to make it mine, and that matters.

Yes, it is the first thing people see when they enter the door. If they dislike it, that is on them, right?
