Cutting bagels should be pretty straightforward, right? Well, it just got easier.

To slice a bagel, you take something like this
And cut it in h lf, right? It should be simple: I always do it for my wife. But sometimes the knife is left somewhere, like an Airbnb, since my wife takes it everywhere.

We were in St. George, Utah, in October 2023 to see Tarzan and attend the St. George DS Temple Open House. You can read about it here. While we were having breakfast, my wife had a bagel and found something she fell in love with and needed.
Slicer
It was a bagel slicer, not a knife, but a slicer.
Once she saw that at the hotel, it went from Amazon to the house.
I describe this as a bigger knife. However, it will cut the straight. I have been known to cut the bagels crooked. So this sits right next to the toaster.
When I make my wife’s breakfast, I use that to cut the bagel. I mean, that is what it is for.
It can even cut semi-frozen bagels, so it is lovely. I mean, a knife would be about the same thing. But the slicer is just so smooth and is to the point.
Is this technology? In a way, it is something that you use in the kitchen to make things easier. In a way, it is technology.
Thoughts
Yeah, it is just a bigger knife, but I enjoy it, and it is handy. I think ti is something that I can talk about here o the blog. It does make it a bit easier to cut he bagels. I haven’t tried to cut anything else. Maybe I should get a doughnut and cut it in half. I don’t know what to do, but that would work.
