Since that happened, making us all work from home back in 2020, I moved to a new house and had my very own office, where I didn’t need to share the kitchen with people while working.
Docking station
My docking station was on my desk before the big move to the new house. Once I got in, I found that it would go under the desk, thus making my desk look somewhat lovely.
I put some command strips on it and mounted it to the desk. That worked for about 18 months. Then, the command strips failed, and the docking station wasn’t attached to the desk.
So I put some more command strips up, and it lasted for a while, but then it happened again. I needed to find a solution I didn’t have to worry about.
Thoughts
I wish I had this little thing earlier in my work-from-home adventure. It has held my docking station up since Jan. of 2024. I know it was only ten months ago. (From Oct. 2024). Even if the description says
“Laptop Holder”
It will hold almost anything you need it to. I would highly suggest that you pick up this lovely little thing. However, this will need to be like a wood desk. I guess you could get metal screws.
