It was the year 1990 something and a remake of an old one. Back in 1989, they launched a device called the Gameboy. This was a great change.
Gameboy color
So if we look back at the Gameboy it was a handheld video game system that you could carry around. Now, this model is just an improvement in this old one and this improvement was color. Yes, that is the right color and it was backward compatible with the first for a handheld system. Doing this made it possible for a large game library.
